Data Protection Information for Business Partners

As part of our business and contractual relationships, we process personal data of contact persons at suppliers, service providers, and other contractual partners. Protecting this data is important to us. Below, we provide information in accordance with Article 13 of the GDPR about the nature, scope, and purpose of this processing, as well as your rights as a data subject.

2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing

We process personal data of our business partners (e.g., contact details, contractual information) for the purpose of initiating, managing, and fulfilling business relationships.
The processing is based on:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract), and

  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).

Categories of Personal Data

  • Contact details (e.g., name, email address, telephone number)

  • Contractual data (e.g., contract contents, durations)

  • Billing data (e.g., bank details, invoicing information)

Data Recipients

To fulfill our contractual and legal obligations, we engage the following service providers as data processors:

  • DocuSign Inc.
    Used for digital contract signing.

  • DATEV eG
    Used for financial accounting and payroll.

  • Fathom.video
    Used for recording online meetings.

  • Atlassian Pty Ltd
    Used for project management and internal communication.

Data processing agreements are in place with all service providers in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Data Transfers to Third Countries

Some of the service providers listed above are located outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR, such as the use of standard contractual clauses.

Data Retention

Personal data is stored for the duration of the business relationship and in accordance with statutory retention periods.

Data Subject Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, and transfer your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
