Can JPGs/PNGs etc. be uploaded?
The only image format that can be uploaded is DICOM (*.dcm). DICOM images have the advantage that they posses “tags”, information that tell the UNITY Platform for example when the image was taken or which modality the image has. These information are important for the UNITY Platform to correctly handle the images. DICOM images also contain personal information, however, these personal information such as patient name or date of birth are automatically anonymized while you are uploading the images. Thus, no personal data will be stored at any moment in the UNITY Platform.
How fast are images imported to the Image Files Overview after Upload?
Once the upload has been completed, the images will be available in the File Overview after approximately 24 hours.
After registration, can I log in and work with the UNITY Platform?
Not immediately. We first need to activate your account.
How can I reset my password?
There are two different situations in which a password might be required to reset: 1. When you have forgotten your password and cannot log in to the UNITY Platform 2. You want to reset your password, but know your current password and can log in to the UNITY Platform In the first case you enter your e-mail-address and then click on “Forgot Password?”
Afterwards you will receive an email with the following text:
“Someone just requested to change your Unity account’s credentials. If this was you, click on the link below to reset them.
Link to reset credentials
This link will expire within 3 days.
If you don’t want to reset your credentials, just ignore this message and nothing will be changed.”
Now you can click on the link and reset your password.
In the second case you log in and click on the upper left corner on “User Menu”. A pop-up menu opens up and you can select “Change Password”
